Situated in Bay of Many Coves, Queen Charlotte Sound and accessible only by water, Chalfont Cottage is a comfortable house with 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people. It was built in stages, starting in 1971, by the owners who have been holidaying in Honeymoon Bay for more than 50 years. The house has a fully equipped modern kitchen, separate bathroom and toilet, laundry with washing machine, and a bright family room with dining table, couches and armchairs and a magnificent view.

There's plenty to do if you want to, but it's also the perfect place to do nothing at all. The cottage comes equipped with outdoor games, a dinghy, kayak and fishing rods, and the beach and water invite sunning and swimming.

Exploring the dense bush around the cottage, part of a national Maritime Park, can keep you occupied for hours. The variety of birdlife in the area is outstanding. There are also many possible daytrips using Honeymoon Bay as a base. Indoors, the cottage is well supplied with a wide variety of books and board games.

For visitors with their own boat, Chalfont Cottage is a very attractive accommodation option as it provides a boat mooring and is in an ideal position to explore the Marlborough Sounds by water.
