Bedroom 1 (left) Bedroom 2 (centre) Bedroom 3 (right)

The house has three bedrooms, Bedroom 1 and 2 are on the main floor (double and twin), Bedroom 3 (double) is below (external access). Electric heaters are provided for all the bedrooms but are seldom needed during summer. Visitors must bring their own linen and towels. Duvets and pillows are provided for each bed. (Overseas visitors should contact us about possible arrangements for supplying linen and towels).

The kitchen includes an electric stove, a microwave oven, a breadmaker and a fridge/freezer. It comes complete with cooking utensils, glasses, mugs and plates. All the usual appliances such as a toaster, electric kettle etc. are included.

The main room has an extendable dining table and six dining chairs. There are two couches (one two-seater, one three-seater) and five arm chairs. Outdoor furniture for the terrace includes a divan, a wooden picnic table, large sun umbrellas and 5 plastic chairs. A gas BBQ is provided for use on the terrace.

The main room has a small TV with very poor reception, a radio/CD/tape player, a telephone for local and tollfree calls and a gas heater.

The house is dependent on stream water. The water system has a large water tank and plentiful hot water. As well as passing through a number of settling tanks, there is a filter on all water before it reaches the house and an additional filter on the cold water tap in the kitchen. In fifty years, even without filters, we have never needed to boil the water. We collect it from some distance up the valley and are the only people who use this stream.
